Cheryl Rainfield is quickly becoming another of my favorite authors. This book was written with such emotion and heart. It was written before “Stained” but I hadn’t even heard of her until I got the ARC of “Stained”. I enjoyed this book a lot and even though I certainly will recommend this book while I’m at the public library, I’m not sure I will put it in my elementary school library. I plan on reading her other titles and am hopeful that she will keep on writing!
Kendra is a teen who was abused as a child. She doesn’t feel like she fits in at school and has turned to cutting herself in order to relieve some of her pain. This story follows Kendra as she tries to remember who abused her and as she falls in love with Meghan.
