Meeting Chance by Jennifer Lavoie

I received this as an ARC from Netgalley and Bold Strokes Books (Thank you:-)

Aaron was attacked by a neighborhood dog at a young age. He his left scarred both physically and emotionally. He has also survived the divorce of his parents and coming out to his friends and family. His life has had some obstacles.
Aaron is now 16 and he has decided to volunteer at an animal shelter to try and overcome his fear of dogs. He meets Finn who helps him adjust to being around dogs. Finn also doesn’t care that Aaron is gay, unlike his old friends.
This is a great story about friendship, acceptance and overcoming your fears. I would recommend it for teens in a heartbeat!
